Community Acupuncture is a wonderful and cost effective option for those whose insurance does not cover acupuncture, for those who are needing treatments more than one time a week, or for an extended period of time. Clinically I have found these shorter (45 min), needles only, sessions effective for pain reduction, gastro-intestinal disorders, regulating of hormones, and headaches/migraines.
